Acquisition Process
For acquisition inquiries, please contact us at info@bybene.no.
You will receive a comprehensive quotation detailing the total price of the artwork, inclusive of bespoke packaging and delivery to the address of your choice.
Upon confirmation of purchase, an invoice (*) will be issued by By Bene.
Following receipt of payment, the artwork will be dispatched together with its certificate of authenticity, via secure door-to-door delivery, fully insured and traceable.
By appointment, it is also possible to collect the artwork in person from By Bene in Oslo. By Bene offers international delivery to most destinations, with only limited exceptions. Kindly note that any import duties or local taxes applicable in the country of destination are not included.
(*) The artworks presented are facilitated by By Bene on behalf of the artist. Under the Norwegian VAT Act (mval.) § 3-7 (4), an artist’s direct sale of their own work is exempt from value-added tax. This exemption also applies when By Bene serves as intermediary. Accordingly, your contractual counterpart is the artist, while By Bene acts solely as the facilitator of the transaction.
THE RIGHT TO WITHDRAWAL AND COMPLAINT
In accordance with the Right of Withdrawal Act, customers are entitled to a 14-day return period from the date of receiving the item. The product must be returned in its original condition and packaging.
Return shipping costs are covered by the buyer.
In accordance with the Purchase Act, customers are entitled to file a claim in the event of defects or damages to the product. If the artwork is damaged upon delivery, the buyer must immediately notify By Bene by email, including photos or video documentation of the damage.
