“Approaching” captures a moment of quiet anticipation – a place where time and space seem to pause. The artist drew inspiration from autumn’s quiet transformation. The warm, golden leaves represent the memories we carry with us, while the pale light drawing us inward symbolizes new opportunities and discoveries. The painting conveys a feeling we all recognize: that moment before a journey begins, when everything is still possible.
“I wanted to paint the sensation of standing on the threshold of something new – not as a dramatic event, but as a quiet invitation,” the artist explains.
